Welcome to our garden. We are a new garden in Sherman,Tx.
Don and I(with the help of a lot of friends)started moving an entire collection of Iris last July 4th.Currently there are about 700(130 historic) varieties planted here.I have also ordered some others for this next year bloom season.
We have had Iris the past 20 years…..just to look at in our yard.We have been members of the Rainbow Iris Society & Texoma Iris Society the past 4 years.I was President of the Rainbow Club for three years.The two Clubs have now merged to one strong club and is called the Texoma Rainbow Iris Society.Their web site is on the links page along with some other links that will be helpful.
As we go along with developing our garden there will be newer and different varieties.I am going to try to have a collection of Dutch Iris in the near future. We are also going to have pictures of our blooms and an online catalog.
I have the garden listed with The Historic Iris Preservation Society as a Historic Display Garden. Our markers on the plants are marked as:

Black-Newer Varieties
In order for an Iris to be classified as Historic the Iris has to have been grown in gardens for 30 years or longer.
We will personally dig every order and mail them the next day,or you can pick them up here at house.We will guarantee each Iris rhizome to be healthy and true to name. If there are any errors, please let us know and we will replace the Iris.
I do have a paper list of Iris for sale now and if you want one please e-mail me and I will get it in the mail to you. The Iris will be dug from July to August and mailed or delivered as we get your orders.
