The Visitor's Center


In 1981 the Disabled American Veterans ( DAV ) became an active part of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial pledging financial and administrative support.

You will find restrooms and information inside as well as many exhibits. Oh and a good cup of Robert's coffee, western style.

Inside the foyer you will find a registration table, a giant map of Vietnam and information from the congressional record that declared the Memorial a memorial of National significance. The map in the foyer is of ultimate quality and beauty and is enhanced by a 3,000 year chronology of Vietnam.
